At 26 years old, Charleston, SC native Raymond Johnson was diagnosed with cancer. He’s working, but he has no insurance. So he and his doctor applied for Medicaid to cover the costs of his treatment, but he was denied. Denied because he has breast cancer and Medicaid only covers breast cancer treatment for women.

Date: 2011-08-07 04:15 am (UTC)THIS REALLY MAKES ME MAD. I'm praying for this guy. Our health care system IS SO JACKED UP. AARRRGGHH.
I'm sorry. I shouldn't get so mad, but...I really can't help it. Something needs to be done about this. I really hope and pray someone helps this man, and people like him!!!
