They were walking on a hill near Ba Sing Se.

The sun was setting as the Avatar and her husband held hands.
"Remember? This was where we met for the first time."
Mariku smiled.
"Yeah, I do. It seems so long ago..."
Jian Liang chuckled.
"It has been over ten years since then."
"Wh-oh gosh you're right! Ahhhh, now I feel old!"
"Heh."
The benders spent a few moments watching the sunset streak across the sky.
"Jian Liang?"
"Hmm?"
"Even if...the baby isn't..."
"Isn't mine? Even if it's not biologically mine, I'll still love it. After all, it'll come from you."

I think writing more of these stories would be good! I love these little snippets, they're sort of like time away from the main storyline, but they're fun! And they have good character development. :)
